Dr. Michael Diamond has been practicing dentistry since 1973 at 509 Orange Street in Newark. The office is conveniently located off Interstate 280 and the Garden State Parkway. Office hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Tuesday thru Friday, and alternating Saturdays, with evening hours on Wednesdays.

  Dr. Diamond's goals have always been to have you feeling comfortable in his family-oriented practice, where pain control is emphasized for each and every patient, and to have you looking good with great smiles.
  We are presently using the latest technologies to attain these goals. We offer laser dentistry for treatment of minor gum diseases and growth removal. We also offer the KCP 1000, or 'drill-less' drill, which allows placement of the tooth colored fillings without injections and discomfort.
  In addition to these cosmetic restorations to keep our patient's smiles looking great, Dr. Diamond does laminates or veneers and crowns. We have had great success with an at-home bleaching procedure which has brightened and whitened many of our patient's smiles.
  Virtually all phases of dentistry are done at our family-oriented offices. These include cleanings, fillings, sealants, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals, and surgeries. All procedures are accomplished with our fully trained staff who always wear gloves, glasses, and masks, using instruments that are either individually sterilized in our steam pressure autoclave, or are disposable and discarded after use. All surfaces in the treatment areas are disinfected with an American Dental Association approved product.
  For pain control and relaxation, we offer nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, to all patients who would like to use it.
  We recommend that children be seen between the ages of two and three for an introduction to dentistry. Dr. Diamond also suggests that all children take flouride supplements, usually in the form of vitamins.
  Custom sport guards are available to protect your teeth while playing all contact sports. These come in a variety of strengths and colors, depending upon the sport and your preference.
  We accept most insurance plans and we will be happy to inquire about your benefits and deductibles. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and MAC debit cards. Discounts are offered to all senior citizens.
